The following Revelation was received by Paul Davies on 22nd August, 1997, at a Revival Prayer evening held at Morphett Vale Baptist Church. As with all prophetic words, these must be weighed and tested with a spirit of humility and repentance. Where Bible passages are referred to, the interpretations given are not intended to be seen as the interpretation of the passage, but as God speaking to his people's current situation by giving an interpretation.
I saw the Lord standing at the door of the Church, and knocking. He was weeping, and crying out:
" You have let my Spirit in. Will you now let Me in? Many of you have come to pray, to intercede, or to minister - to do! But I have not called you to come and do, I have called you to come and BE - to be with me. 'Without me you can do nothing'.
You ask to love, but you do not understand that you cannot love unless I enable you. As my Apostle wrote: 'We love because He first loved us'. You ask to see me, but that same Apostle, after a lifetime of loving me, fell at my feet terrified, when he saw Me as I am. You ask to enter in, but you do not realise that you cannot enter in unless I first enter in.
You cannot pray, unless I enable you. You cannot love unless I enable you. You cannot see me unless I enable you. The initiative is with me, and it is my Grace alone that enables you to do these things.
Do not seek after healing, or blessing, or evangelism, or prophecy, or anything else, apart from me. If you seek first the Kingdom of God, these things will be added unto you.
You ask for more of my Spirit, but you do not realise that my Spirit has no face - He prepares the way to Me. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, and I was lifted up to draw all men unto myself. If I am with you all else will follow in abundance. You ask for Fire, but you do not realise that I AM the Fire of God.
I long to be intimate with you, but I am still waiting for you to call. I am weeping over Jerusalem, My church, My bride. But beware! When I enter I will change everything, as I am a consuming fire. If you ask me to walk into the room, you must be prepared to eat My flesh and drink My blood. Be sure to count the cost.
To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne. I will gove Gold, refined in the fire, a salve for your eyes that you may see, and white garments for you to wear.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in, and eat with him, and he with me.
The Spirit says to me: 'Come, Lord Jesus'. What will my Bride say?"
